Off Hollywood is an ongoing series of polaroids and interviews with legendary people working in film and television in an effort to record their history.
The series began in 2011 after receiving a commission from the Impossible Project to create a body of work using the last remaining boxes of Polaroid Spectra 600 film. While the Spectra 600 polaroid camera was once one of the most essential tools used on a movie set, it has since become obsolete after decades of service to the industry. Its use spanned several departments including casting, continuity, costuming and special effects in addition to capturing moments behind the scenes in ways that are unlike any other medium making it the perfect choice for Off Hollywood.
